Gravestone Photographs Resource: send a message to someone who requested a photo

Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Mary Shellard with the following comment:

Hi - this headstone is my gg grandparents - Mary Shellard, widow of Nathan Shellard a baker - died 28 march 1862 and Nathaniel Shellard is most likely her husband who died 20 July 1843 - male 52 years, occupation: baker, cause: consumption. Their son, James Shellard was a tailor. He died in Monmouth on 2nd Feb 1900. One of his daughters - Alice Maud Chilvers (nee Shellard) moved to Toowoomba, QLd, Australia in 1906 and then Sydney in 1911 - which is where many of her descendants still live. RegardsJenny Hart
